Ontwikkelaar Two Tribes werkt momenteel aan een update voor de Wii U titel Toki Tori 2. Binnen enkele weken moet de update al beschikbaar komen. Met deze patch worden enkele problemen verholpen en dingen toegevoegd. Zo komen er na de update meer hints in de game, zijn sommige bugs verholpen en wordt de puzzel in het onder water gedeelte duidelijker. Meer over de update kun je hieronder vinden. De ontwikkelaar heeft voor op de langere termijn een tweede patch in de planning.

- When all the collectibles in a level (or the entire game) are collected a melody will play to notify the player
- Fixed a rare bug where the player completed the game, but the end scene wouldn’t trigger
