Eerder liet Sony al weten dat de Wii momentum aan het verliezen is en de PS3 deze juist overneemt. Andrew House, baas van Sony Computer Entertainment Europe, liet weten dat de dalende Wii verkopen en de stijgende PS3 verkopen positiefg is voor uitgevers. Dit omdat de PlayStation 3 een console is, waar third-party uitgevers meer aan kunnen verdienen. Wellicht is House nog een beetje te voorbarig? De Wii is nog steeds de meest verkochte console en met de komst van veel grote titels in 2010 zou dat nog wel eens een tijdje aan kunnen houden!
