Na Resident Evil The Umbrella Chronicles zal Capcom met Resident Evil: Darkside Chronicles naar de Wii komen. Ook deze game is een on-rail shooter. Dit deel richt zich met name op de gebeurtenissen uit Resident Evil 2 en Code Veronica. In een interview heeft de producer van de game, Masachika Kawata, gezegd dat de graphics van de game zijn favoriete feature zijn. De game moet er dan ook erg goed uit gaan zien. Volgens Kawata zouden de graphics in de buurt komen van graphics die we op de Xbox 360 en PS3 zien. Met de game wil men dan ook alles uit de Wii gaan halen. Hieronder zie je ook enkele screenshots.
“Graphics. From the beginning of the project, we thought that the game has to have that immersive-ness in order to create that atmospheric world. We knew we had to come up with great graphics. Cavia (developer) kept boasting to everyone that they had created the same quality of graphic of the next generational console on the Wii. The only regrettable point would be that it isn’t in HD. Cavia had to use all it’s resources to create those types of graphics.”
