Tetsuya Takahashi is de director van Xenoblade Chronicles. Door de verschijning van Shulk in Super Smash Bros., komt er morgen een Amiibo van Shulk uit. Toch hoopt Tetsuya dat Xenoblade z’n eigen Amiibo serie krijgt.
Amiibo zijn een hit. Deze figuurtjes zorgen voor extra content in games en ook Xenoblade Chronicles 3D ondersteunt de Shulk Amiibo. Tetsuya Takahashi heeft de gehele ontwikkeling van de Shulk Amiibo bij gewoond en is onder de indruk van het resultaat. Tetsuya vertelde dat hij hoopt dat er ooit nog een Xenoblade Chronicles serie uit gaat komen.

“It’s been about a month since I posted. The Shulk amiibo came out! I’ve been supervising this since the early prototype stages, but I’d like to say thanks to all the people who’ve worked very hard on the amiibo. I saw a production model at the start of this month and I was very impressed with the build quality. This time it’s a Smash Bros. figurine, but I’d love for there to be a Xenoblade [amiibo] series sometime in the future, too.”
