Wii Karaoke U is sinds kort gratis te downloaden in de eShop. Gratis klinkt misschien wel heel goedkoop, er zit wel een kleine maar aan. Je kunt de game namelijk een uur lang gratis uitproberen. Wil je daarna nog steeds vrolijk mee gaan zingen dan zul je moeten betalen voor de tijd dat je de game gebruikt. Je krijgt de keuze uit verschillende ‘tickets’ die je kunt aanschaffen in de Wii U eShop, een ticket voor één dag is €1,99 en een ticket voor 30 dagen kost rond de €14,99.
