De huidige CEO van Electronic Arts zal op 30 maart zijn functie neerleggen. John Riccitiello zal vanaf 30 maart opstappen en EA is momenteel op zoek naar een vervanger. Riccitiello liet weten trots te zijn op wat het bedrijf tot nu toe heeft bereikt en denkt dat het nu de juiste tijd is om zijn functie over te dragen aan iemand anders. Meer over wat Riccitiello vertelde over zijn vertrek hieronder:

I am proud of what we have accomplished together, and after six years I feel it is the right time for me pass the baton and let new leadership take the Company into its next phase of innovation and growth. I remain very optimistic about EA’s future – there is a world class team driving the Company’s transition to the next generation of game consoles.”
