Na het grote succes van Wii Fit kwamen er al snel meerdere vergelijkbare games op de markt waarmee je kunt werken aan je eigen lichaam. Ook Ubisoft heeft al enkele fitness spellen uitgebracht en vandaag heeft Ubisoft een nieuwe fitness game aangekondigd: Fit in Six. De game komt naar de Wii en Playstation 3. De Wii versie zal de camera ondersteunen die ook bij Your Shape zat inbegrepen. De game laat je weer aan je lichaam werken aan de hand van allerlei oefeningen. Meer details hieronder!
SAN FRANCISCO–January 18, 2011- Today Ubisoft announces Fit in Six™, a new fitness game for the PlayStation®3 computer entertainment system which also utilizes PlayStation®Move functionality and for the Wii™ system from Nintendo which leverages Ubisoft’s USB camera accessory. Developed by Ubisoft Blue Byte studio in Düsseldorf, Germany, the game separates overall fitness routines into six core elements — core body, upper body, lower body, cardio, balance and flexibility — that help you focus on getting fit and reaching your goals. The workouts have been developed by experienced fitness professionals to ensure that every move is performed precisely and effectively. Fit in Six™ will be available in March 2011.
For the Wii system the USB camera will provide a picture-in-picture view that enables players to compare their own movements to the in-game coach for a more accurate replication of exercises. Fit in Six™ is offered in a bundle package with the Wii-compatible USB camera; the game will also be sold separately.
