Geen Pokemon RPG voor de Wii

Ook op de Wii zijn er inmiddels al verschillende Pokemon spellen verschenen, helaas hebben Wii bezitters het tot nu toe nog steeds zonder een echte Pokemon RPG moeten doen. Slecht nieuws voor Pokemon fans die hier nog hoop op hadden. Op de Wii hoeven we namelijk geen Pokemon RPG te verwachten. In een interview met de website IGN zei producer Junichi Masuda op de vraag of er ooit nog een Pokémon RPG op de Wii komt, “ik denk het niet”. Voglens hem hoort deze serie thuis op de handhelds en zal deze niet naar de console komen. Binnenkort kunnen DS bezitters aan de slag met Pokemon Black & White.

I think the Pokemon core series is always going to be with handheld hardware, in the future as well. I consider handheld hardware you can carry around with you as almost being equal to being with Pokemon, always. I think handheld really matches the idea of Pokemon that we have. Also, you can communicate and transfer data all the time, whenever you want with a handheld. That’s also a match with the Pokemon concept.
