Op de afgelopen E3 werd Mario Maker voor de Wii U aangekondigd. De naam zegt het eigenlijk al, de game laat je zelf Mario levels ontwerpen. Dat kan zowel in de klassieke Mario Bros stijl als in de moderne stijl. Daarnaast zal de game ook thema’s krijgen buiten het Mario unviversum om. Tot nu toe is de game alleen voor de Wii U aangekondigd maar als het aan de producer van de game ligt kan het spel in de toekomst ook best naar de Nintendo 3DS komen. Dit heeft hij laten weten in een interview met website usgamer.net. Vooralsnog is niets zeker en gaat men zich eerst richten op de Wii U versie.
Yeah, a 3DS version is possible. You’re the first person to ask about this! I have thought about it. But right now we think it’s best for the Wii U Game Pad. I don’t know if a 3DS version would work the same exact way, but maybe if Mario Maker does well on Wii U and people really love it, I might consider doing something for 3DS. Right now, the Wii U hardware has a lot more power, so you can fit a lot more enemies and elements on the course. That’s why we prefer this hardware. But of course, I am interested in the idea of a portable version

Momenteel denk ik dat Nintendo beter eerst de Wii U-versie op orde kan brengen 😛
Want daar valt weinig in te beleven én wordt tot wat er nu is je creativiteit vrij beperkt.
