De ontwikkelaar van The Conduit heeft gezegd dat ze denken dat hun aankomende Wii game aan zal slaan bij de casual gamers. Dit klinkt misschien vreemd omdat The Conduit toch wel op het lijstje van populaire hardcore games staat. Volgens de ontwikkelaar zou de game een zeer toegangkelijke besturing kennen. De ontwikkelaars lieten ook nog weten dat de Wii eigenlijk niet bedoeld is als next-gen console. Hier zou de Wii de kracht niet voor hebben. Hieronder kun je lezen wat ze zeiden over hun aankomende game:
“Naturally, while we would love it if it happened, we don’t actually expect a lot of grandparents to be running and gunning with you. However, given the ease of our controls, the quality of our graphics, and the pleasing nature of our gameplay… we think “The Conduit” will appeal to quite a few casual players as well as the hardcore crowd.”
